The work has been created because of my own personal interest in Hip Hop and music videos. I have noticed music video trends change over the past decade and that there is a return of the analogue aesthetic that was seen in the very initiation stages of the music video industry. The research covered the opinions of top movie directors on the use of analog tools in modern day filming as well as the analysis of influential music videos from the past 30 years.
